Connect an AI assistant
Ask your AI assistant about your traffic through our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. It answers with the same numbers as your dashboard.
- Best for
- Any team member
- Prerequisites
- An AI assistant that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Step 1: Copy the server URL
The URL is the same for every account. You'll sign in when you connect.
URL https://staging.pebbleanalytics.io/api/mcpStep 2: Add it to your assistant
In Claude or ChatGPT, go to Settings, add a custom connector and paste the URL. In Cursor or another editor, add it to your MCP config:
JSON.cursor/mcp.json { "mcpServers": { "pebble-analytics": { "url": "https://staging.pebbleanalytics.io/api/mcp" } } }Step 3: Sign in and approve access
Your assistant opens our sign-in page. Sign in, choose which sites it can access and approve. Your assistant never sees your password.
Step 4: Ask about your traffic
- “How many visitors did fieldnotes.blog have last week?”
- “Which pages brought the most visitors this month?”
- “Where did yesterday's visitors come from?”
Done: You're connected
Your assistant has read-only access to your stats. Manage or disconnect it on the AI assistants page.
